Haitian Hip-Hop

Haitian hip-hop/rap seems to have matured over the years. It is very similar to east coast rap such as Jay-Z, Kanye West and the similar artist. Haitian and east coast rap are probably similar because many Haitian communities are on the east coast in Boston, Brooklyn and Florida.
Many people like a good hip-hop/rap beat but don’t enjoy the the rougher lyrics, and same problem exists in Haiti. There is a lot of cursing and materials not appropriate for children this genre of music.
I’d like to introduce you to a clean song by a rapper called Fantom. If you like it, consider buying the album so that the artist can get his royalties. Fantom, if you’re seeing this post let me know and I’ll make sure that you get paid. Please note that the other tracks on the album may not be so clean.
This track is about mothers. Enjoy.
